Description
WHAT IS IT
This module operates in one of two Modes. Undervoltage protection and Battery Charge protection.
- Undervoltage protection mode disconnects a load when the battery voltage is too low.
- Charge control mode connects a DC charger when the battery voltage is too low
This is NOT a battery charger or a power module – simply a switch. See my other items for each of these.
This is NOT for use with mains.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR
- In undervoltage protection mode, you’d use it to disconnect a battery from something like an AVTEX TV in a motor-home when the battery voltage becomes low enough to cause damage to itself.
- In charge control mode, a lead-acid battery could automatically be connected to a charger to keep it topped up.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Max current – 20 Amps DC
Max Voltage – 60 Volts DC. NOT FOR USE WITH MAINS.
Consumes 70mA from the Charger in Charger Protection Mode, and 70mA from the battery in Undervoltage protection mode.
Panel cutout 71mm x 29mm. There are two lugs on the side that will need accommodating. See the side picture.
